Nathan made plans for some of his coworkers to go go-karting. Getting home from work proved to be a bit of a challenge as traffic was horrible. We grabbed some take away food for a quick dinner but we couldn't quite get there by 7. Nate's co-worker Luc (said like Luke) beat us there by a few minutes.
When we got there the place looked fairly empty, but they told us the guys would have to wait almost 2 hours before they would be able to get in a heat. This was a little disappointing, and one of the guys who lives an hour away decided he didn't want to wait. Some of Nathan's other coworkers got stuck in the office, so in the end there was only 4 of them.
Turned out there was come kind of tournament going on, and the guys had to wait until they were mostly finished to race. They ended up doing 2 heats, and I'm very proud to say that even with that tournament going on Nathan still had the second fastest time of the day.
